The Lakewood Library and Library administrative offices will be closing early today, June 27, due to a water main break in the area. We expect to be open for regular hours tomorrow.
The Conifer Library will be closing at 2:45 p.m. today, June 23 due to air conditioning issues.

Get your tickets today for the Jefferson County Library Foundation's 12th Annual Rare & Novel Night, happening at Bandimere Speedway at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 21. This year's event, "Rock, Race & Read," will give guests the chance to burn up the quarter mile in a Z28 Camaro on Thunder Mountain.
Tickets are $55 to spectate and $200 to race; all tickets include hors d'oeuvres, dinner, live entertainment by The New Classics Band, and silent and live auctions. Guests will have a chance to win a week in the Grenadines on a luxurious yacht, a condo in Steamboat Springs for a week, a diamond pendant, a custom tailgate party by Big Kahuna BBQ and much more!
KBPI DJ Willie B. will be the celebrity guest racer for the evening! Anyone who buys a ticket to race will be entered to win a chance to go up against Willie B.
Proceeds from the event help support children and teen literacy programs at the Library such as Summer Reading Club and the Traveling Children's Library.
