Jefferson County Public Library has been selected
as a 2013 National Medal for Museum and Library Service finalist by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). In fact, we're one of 16 libraries up for consideration! This is the nation's highest honor conferred on museums and libraries for service to the community, and celebrates institutions that make a difference for individuals, families, and communities.
Show your support for us on March 5, when we will be featured on the IMLS Facebook page. We encourage all Jeffco residents who have benefitted from library service to share their story. You can also find out interesting facts by following us on Facebook and Twitter.

The Belmar Library and JCPL Administration will have a delayed opening today, Feb. 25. They will open at 10 a.m. All other JCPL locations will be open at normal hours.
All JCPL locations will be closed today due to weather conditions.
One of the best things we can do as a library is partner with other organizations in the community. Recently, JCPL was approached by students from the Ohio Center for Broadcasting wondering if we would allow them to film a Public Service Announcement
for their class project. Naturally, we said yes!
Thanks to the hardwork of Shawn Marie, Steve and Sawyer, we have a great promotional piece, and they have some production experience to add to their resumes.
Make sure you give it a watch!
JCPL is now offering online access to nearly 100 of your favorite magazines, including Bloomberg Business Week, Consumer Reports, ELLE Decor, Harvard Business Review, National Geographic, Parenting Magazine, PC World, Rolling Stone and more.
Magazines are made available for immediate, unlimited access through a Library subscription to Zinio, a global supplier of electronic content. They may be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the Library's website. First time users will need to create a user name and password to access the Zinio site. They will then have unlimited access to full digital copies of Zinio's entire magazine collection, available via computer or mobile devices.
