Jefferson County Public Library will be conducting a purge of non-active accounts on Jan. 1. If you have not used your Jefferson County Public Library card to check-out or place items on hold since 2005 or prior you will need to do so before the end of the year to keep your card active.

The Colorado State Library requires that all libraries remove inactive patron cards every three years.

Be sure to check out an item or place an item on hold before the end of the year if you think your card may be removed from the Library’s system.

Jefferson County Public Library has added an easy way to search for upcoming books from our website. Just visit the "For Book Lovers" page and look for the search box for Barnes & Noble "Coming Soon" pages. You can search directly from JCPL's page, or click the "Coming Soon" link to browse the Barnes & Noble site.
