Jefferson County Public Library will be conducting a purge of non-active accounts on Jan. 1. If you have not used your Jefferson County Public Library card to check-out or place items on hold since 2005 or prior you will need to do so before the end of the year to keep your card active.

The Colorado State Library requires that all libraries remove inactive patron cards every three years.

Be sure to check out an item or place an item on hold before the end of the year if you think your card may be removed from the Library’s system.
