We’re Looking for Volunteers
Are you passionate about early literacy? Do you love kids? Are you looking for a meaningful experience that gives back to your community? We have just the thing! Our Start with a Story outreach program allows JCPL to provide early literacy experiences to children in the community who may not otherwise be able to visit the library. We are looking for volunteers to provide storytimes at area daycare centers and preschools. What's storytime all about? It's about sharing stories, games, and literacy activities with children and teachers.

We are seeking volunteers to help us launch our pilot program in September – training will be provided. To learn more contact Jennifer Hand.
