The step repair also means that we had to close the outdoor book drop. We have altered our automated system so that no one will incur fines while the book drop is closed.

What a gorgeous entrance! Have you considered posting it Flickr?

Ann:
What browser are you using? Here at the library we use Mozilla Suite and Firefox and it looks fine. I just checked it on Windows Explorer and for some reason it displays incorrectly there. Explorer is picky that way. I'll see if my host can fix that line of code. Andrea

'Tis a wonderful entry indeed. How is the architectural style described? And ... is there an historic plaque at this entrance? Love what you've done to the place! Hope high traffic continues through all the doors!
The web display works well with Safari on my Mac.
I (as Hedgehog's Whimsey BOOKS Used & New) am moving my Sarah Josepha Hale Awardee Authors selection to downtown Newport later this month and off our closed Chandlers Mills Rd. The retail adventure will be at 8 Main St. in the Lewis Block. There'll be a other book selections, too.
