Engaging Readers via AMP
On Thursday evening, I attended the 10th anniversary celebration of AMP Public, Education and Government Access Television.  This is a community non-profit media production organization based in Monterey, which provides television broadcast services to public entities and local non-profits.  The organization airs a variety of community-based programming over local cable channels, including the Library’s Cover to Cover  series, in which Library staff discuss and recommend books and other reading materials. Cover to Cover is now in its sixth year of production, has won an Edgar Kennedy award for Informational Programming, and has helped the Library in its effort to continue building a community of readers.

Congratulations AMP for 10 years of service to the community, and thank you for helping the Library with its outreach efforts!

P.S. Check out Cover to Cover on local cable Channel 25 daily at 6:30 p.m. or via streaming video from our Web site and join the community of readers!
