Second Annual East Twin River Paddle Open Tomorrow!
Saturday April 26, 2008 - the Second Annual East Twin River Paddle Open will depart from the dam in Mishicot at 11:00 am.
Participants will travel the East Twin River and land at Paddler's Park in Two Rivers.
It is free and open to all ages!

If you have an e-mail address that you check regularly and if you wouldn't mind receiving hold pickup notices and overdue notices by e-mail, we would like your e-mail address for our files. This helps both the environment and the library's budget since we don't have to spend money on printing and postage. As an extra benefit to you, we also send out courtesy "due soon" notices to all of our patrons with e-mail. 
To add a new address or correct the e-mail address on file, you can go through the online catalog, by clicking the Search the Catalog button at the top of this page, then My Account, then Change my Address and entering your e-mail address. Heart-A-Rama in Two Rivers!
This annual fundraiser for the American Heart Association is great fun for all. Music and skits poke fun of Manitowoc and Two Rivers events and politicians. For the first time Heart-a-Rama's 38 year history, it came to the Hamilton Community House in Two Rivers.
A ton of fun and there are shows every night April 16 through the 24th - all shows are sold out!

Culver's Coloring Contest
April 1 – April 25
Pick up a coloring sheet at the youth desk and celebrate your favorite book by drawing a picture. It can be a character, event, scene or anything you liked about the book. Return the drawing to the library no later than Friday, April 25 and win a certificate for a FREE single scoop of frozen custard at Culver’s. For kids 11 years old and younger. Lester Bentley's 100th Celebration
Last Saturday night, March 29th, Two Rivers celebrated what would have been local artist Lester Bentley's 100th birthday. Music, wine, cake and a sing-a-long in the gallery made for a beautiful evening at the Hamilton Community House in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
The MacDowell Chorus provided music.
The 'Girl in the Red Coat' was unveiled.
In remembrance of portrait artist and local legend Lester Bentley.

Food for Fines
Monday, April 14 – Saturday, April 19
To celebrate National Library Week 2008, the Lester Public Library will deduct $1.00 of fines for every item of nonperishable food donated. There is a $10.00 maximum, and please no expired food. Money cannot be applied to lost or damaged materials.
All items will be donated to TREP.

Teen Late Night this Friday
Friday, April 4 7:00-11:00 PM
Open to teens in 6th-12th grade only. Join us for an after-hours evening at the library. Computers, video games, snacks & hanging out with friends. Participants must be on time and stay for the entire evening.
All participants must have a permission slip to attend the late night. Slips may be picked up at the youth desk the week before. Only 45 spots available! Only one slip will be given to each teen.
