Join special guests the Hatrack Storytellers Inc. for a morning of stories, laughter and fun. A group of accomplished storytellers will share a variety of stories such as Chester’s Way by Kevin Henkes; Click, Clack Moo, Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin; and Willy was Different by Norman Rockwell. All stories are told through Readers Theater. Storytelling at its finest—you won’t want to miss it! This program is for children of all ages and their families and will last approximately 30 minutes, no registration required.
Beginning March 19 and ending April 19, the U.S. Census Bureau will be available to answer questions on filling out the 2010 Census Survey at the Lester Public Library. A study room at the library will be made available to help individuals fill out the 2010 Census Survey at the following times:
Mondays & Wednesdays 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
No appointment is necessary. The U.S. Census Bureau will also provide informational materials in the lobby of the library during normal business hours.
Learn how to surf the net, search for information and familiarize yourself with the World Wide Web. Each class is designed for the very beginner and space is limited. Please register by calling 793-7114 or by stopping by the reference desk.
