Battle of the Boxes - Competition on the Coast, MCLS Champs
Battle of the Boxes - Competition on the Coast, or BOBCO, is a Wii competition between library systems on the western coast of Lake Michigan in Wisconsin. The Manitowoc-Calumet Library System Interim Director, Bob Hafeman, wrote the LSTA Grant to make it all happen.
With LSTA Innovative Technology Grant funding the Manitowoc-Calumet Library System, Eastern Shores Library System, Lakeshores Library System and the Kenosha County Library System member libraries each received a Wii and several games, including Guitar Hero. Member libraries held local championships where winners then went on to compete at the system level. The photos in this set (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lesterpubliclibrary/sets/72157607885083794/ ) are from the Manitowoc-Calumet Library System Championship. Winners from this tourney will then face the winners from the other library systems that will name the ultimate Wii champions on the western coast of Lake Michigan!
