Reel Reads: Inkheart
On January 23, escape into a world of fantasy and adventure as Inkheart, the first book in the popular series by Cornelia Funke, hits the big screen. Starring Brendan Fraser, Paul Bettany and Helen Mirren, this film adaptation tells the story of 12 year-old Meggie who learns that her father has the special ability to bring the characters of books to life. When one of those characters abducts them, Meggie suddenly finds herself in the middle of a magical adventure where she must learn to harness her own power in order to save herself and her father.
