The Lovely Bones on the big screen Fans of Alice Sebold's blockbuster novel, The Lovely Bones, have been eagerly awaiting Peter Jackson's film adaptation since production started more than two years ago. Best known for his work on The Lord of the Rings films, Jackson will bring his unique vision for The Lovely Bones to life on December 11, when the film is released nationwide. Starring Mark Walhberg and Rachel Weisz as the parents of murdered Susie Salmon, with Susan Saradon as Grandma Lynn and Stanley Tucci as murderous George Harvey, this film is sure to be a holiday blockbuster. If you haven't read The Lovely Bones, be sure to check out the book before seeing this star-studded film. |
