The next installment in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse, doesn't hit theaters until June 30th.  In the meantime, be sure to place your hold on The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, Stephenie Meyer's new novella due out June 5th or check out the new documentary, Twilight in Forks, which takes a closer look at the quiet Northwestern town that has become a tourist hotspot for fans of the series.

Lovely Bones
The Lovely Bones on the big screen

Fans of Alice Sebold's blockbuster novel, The Lovely Bones, have been eagerly awaiting Peter Jackson's film adaptation since production started more than two years ago. Best known for his work on The Lord of the Rings films, Jackson will bring his unique vision for The Lovely Bones to life on December 11, when the film is released nationwide. Starring Mark Walhberg and Rachel Weisz as the parents of murdered Susie Salmon, with Susan Saradon as Grandma Lynn and Stanley Tucci as murderous George Harvey, this film is sure to be a holiday blockbuster. If you haven't read The Lovely Bones, be sure to check out the book before seeing this star-studded film.

Frank McCourt passed away Sunday, July 19 2009.  He was 78, and well known as the author of Angela's Ashes.

In case you have been hiding under a rock or locked away in a crypt and have not heard about the Twilight craze, you have less than a week to get on the bandwagon as Edward and Bella make their big screen debut on November 21, 2008.  Check out the official website to see the trailer, purchase your tickets in advance and find out other juicy tidbits about the movie - and be glad that you don't live in Switzerland which won't get to see the movie until January 22, 2009!
