Reel Reads: Kit Kittredge: An American Girl
Based on the popular American Girl doll and book series, Kit Kittredge: An American Girl tells the story of 10 year-old Kit who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio during the Great Depression. The movie follows Kit's quest to fulfill her dream of getting published in the local paper, and with the help of her friends and family, her dream just might come true! 2008 Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards Announced
The Boston Globe–Horn Book Awards which are given in three categories: Fiction and Poetry, Picture Book, and Nonfiction were announced on June 18, 2008. The winners and honor books are:
