Reel Reads: The Dark is Rising
Susan Cooper's award winning children's book, The Dark is Rising, comes to life on the big screen on October 5th in the new Walden Media film, The Seeker: The Dark is Rising. It tells the story of Will Stanton who discovers on his 11th birthday that he is the Sign-Seeker, last of the immortal Old Ones, destined to seek the six magical Signs that will be needed for the battle between the Dark and the Light.
