In-Person Cooking Demo: Sourdough Part 2: Beyond Bread

The library will host a two-part sourdough demonstration with Catherine St. John, former owner of the Western Reserve School of Cooking. In part two, Catherine will go beyond the bread as she demonstrates other recipes you can make with your sourdough starter and discard. Learn how to make sourdough scones and more as Catherine continues to answer any sourdough questions. Please register for each class individually.  

Catherine St John is the former owner of the Western Reserve School of Cooking in Hudson. She has spent over 40 years in the culinary arts field as a chef, teacher, caterer, consultant and now a sourdough baker. After closing the cooking school in early 2021 Catherine turned her passion for sourdough into a small cottage baking business. You can find her baked goods during the season at Season’s Micro Farm in Kent or at one of her pop-ups.
