JCPL Teens

There will be an annular solar eclipse tomorrow, Sunday, May 20th, starting at 6 p.m.   The moon will pass in front of the sun creating a ring of fire effect for the sun.   An annular solar eclipse happens when the Moon appears to be smaller than the Sun, causing the Sun to look like an annulus or ring, and blocking most of the Sun's light.  We will not be in the direct path of the eclipse but you should still be able to see something.  Remember, don't look directly at a solar eclipse as this will damage your vision.  Be sure to check it out!
