Update to Initial Study of Hatch Road Auxiliary Lane
The California Department of Transportation has released an update to the Initial Study with Mitigated Negative Declaration to create an auxiliary lane on northbound State Route 99 between the Hatch Road on-ramp and South 9th Street off-ramp. The update contains public comments from the review period for the draft environemtnal document.

7th Street Bridge Project Environmental Assessment Draft
Caltrans released a draft for the possible repair or replace the 7th Street Bridge to create a structurally and functionally sufficient bridge crossing over the Tuolumne River along the 7th Street corridor. A Draft Environmental Assessment that identifies several alternatives is available for public review and comments until February 28.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Red Event Center. The Red Event Center is located at 921 8th Street in Modesto.
