What makes an object conductive? Join us in the Maker Space as we explore the conductivity of different objects using Makey Makey. Materials will be provided. This program is designed for ages 9-18.

Bring your friends for some casual trading card game fun! All skill levels welcome! Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon materials will be available while supplies last. All ages welcome; children 8 and under must have direct supervision from parents or adult guardians.

Join fellow knitting and crochet enthusiasts as you work on your current project or start a new one! This group meets every Wednesday at 3 pm. Participants of all skill levels are welcome.

Stop by and have it looked at by 2nd Chance Modesto to identify hardware or software repairs that will help get it back up and running like new! Visually map out your goals and dreams for 2026 by making a vision board with members of Invest in Me. All materials will be provided.

Grab a buddy, a cousin, or a sibling and join us for an afternoon of games and fun! We'll have a variety of board games for both kids and adults to enjoy. 

Join us for a guided crochet class led by local Girl Scouts! All supplies will be provided for ages 7 to 18 to learn how to crochet a bookmark. Advance registration is required; please register each person attending individually.

Come explore your imagination by creating Northern Lights skylines using alternative painting techniques at the Newman Library! Materials will be provided while supplies last.  All ages welcome! Direct parental supervision for children ages 8 and under is required.

Lantern festivals are celebrated in many cultures. Participants carry colorful paper lanterns as they celebrate the arrival of the new year. Join us in the Turlock Library Maker Space and create a colorful, lighted paper lantern. Materials will be provided. This program is designed for ages 9-18.
