Calendar of Events

The library is challenging members of the community to show off their photography skills! This contest is open to adults of all skill levels, from professionals to beginners. It doesn't matter whether you have a high-end DSLR camera or an iPhone – use whatever equipment you have. 
 
In honor of the Summer Reading Challenge our theme for the Photo Challenge is "Summer Fun in El Dorado County". Photos for this theme can be anything from a road trip to the Sierra mountains to a picture of someone reading their favorite book. 

Submit your photo in .jpeg format to: edhlibrarycontests@gmail.com. Please include your first and last name in the body of the email. Submissions are due before 5pm on Saturday, July 1. Limit one submission per person. 

Submissions will be reviewed for appropriate content, adherence to the theme, and image quality. Qualifying images will be posted to the El Dorado Hills Library Facebook page, where the community will vote on the winner. Voting is open on July 7 and closes on July 21 at 3pm. The winner will receive a fantastic prize!
