Welcome to the land of pyramids, pharaohs, and mummies! On our first day of History Club, club members in grades 4-6 will journey to Ancient Egypt, one of the world’s oldest and most fascinating civilizations.
Club members will:
Race each other to become mummies!
View artifacts from the Cleveland Museum of Art!
Build pyramids using boxes!
Each activity is hands-on, creative, and packed with history, helping club members understand how Egyptians lived, learned, and left their mark on the world.
It’s a day of discovery, design, and a little bit of desert adventure!
Don’t forget your explorer spirit!

Kindermusik is the leading music and movement program for children in early childhood development. We offer three sessions in-person at the library, all with a licensed Kindermusik teacher. This session is for ages 0-2 with a caregiver. Registration is required for each child, but is not necessary for adults attending.

Let's get a little soapy, bubbly and have some fun with a foam party on the back lawn! This all ages family event will take place on the library's back lawn, just past the patio! There will be music, foam, fun and a cold sweet treat! Don't forget to bring a towel! Registration is required.

Greet the day with a peaceful, beginner-friendly yoga class designed to help you relax, stretch, and breathe deeply. The library will offer a four-week session of in-person, gentle flow yoga classes for all levels, led by certified yoga instructor Lora Gray. Starting on Monday, July 7, classes will be offered every Monday during the month of July. These free, beginner-friendly classes focus on slow, mindful movement, breathing, and relaxation—perfect for those looking to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and start their day with intention. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Each class will last approximately 60 minutes. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and any other props for their practice. Please register for each class separately.

Children in grades K-5 are welcome to join us on Monday, July 14th at 3:00pm for an opportunity to make a colorful, unique work of art that they can take home with them! Kids will utilize glue and colorful sand to make a fun craft that is the perfect way to celebrate the summer. This event will take place on the lawn behind the children's room patio.

Join us for Lunch Bunch – a weekly program just for children entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2025! Bring a sack lunch and a drink each week to enjoy while listening to stories on the patio! Afterwards, we’ll head into the storytime room for early literacy activities, crafts, and games that focus on concepts and skills for school readiness.
The weekly program dates are on 6 consecutive Tuesdays, June 17 – July 22, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Register only once for the entire session. This program is only for children entering Kindergarten in the Fall of 2025.

Older students who love reading and wish to spread that joy with young readers are encouraged to join us for Reading Buddies! You'll be paired with a variety of younger buddies for the afternoon! Older buddies should be students in grades 5-12. Registration is required.
