Library Events

Come and explore about the Soap Box Derby, its history, and gravity-racing. Students in grades 3-6 will learn with a Hudson librarian about different tools, usage, and safety tips, identify and create logos for their Mini Car shells,  and then construct, test, analyze data, and fine-tune their Mini Cars for a race. On our third and last day the Soap Box Derby will be here to lead our mini races! Registration is required. 

This is a three day program from Tuesday, June 24 - Thursday, June 26. On that Thursday we will be racing the mini cars we made the first two days and parents are encouraged to attend on racing day!
