Dr. William Crain, of Safe Haven Farm Sanctuary, will share stories of rescued animals from his latest book, Animal Stories: Lives at a Farm Sanctuary. Following his presentation, Dr. Crain will autograph copies of his book, which will be available for sale. 


About our presenter: William Crain is professor emeritus of psychology at The City College of New York. His writings include the book, Forever Young, Reclaiming Childhood: Letting Children Be Children in Our Achievement-Oriented Society. With his wife Ellen, Bill founded Safe Haven Farm Sanctuary in Poughquag, which gives a lifelong home to farm animals rescued from slaughter. Bill and Ellen have three grown children and six grandchildren.
