Timothy Musso is an artist and naturalist who exhibits his work internationally. The themes of his artwork are inspired by remote cross-country backpacking trips around the world. It was on one of these trips in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge that he first encountered the Arctic tern. His fascination with nature, innate curiosity, and preferred medium of relief printing coalesced in the creation of his first picture book, ‘Chasing the Sun’. The book takes the reader along with a family of Arctic terns as they migrate around the world.
Join us at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 1st for a Children’s program that will include a book reading, short art demonstration, and coloring book session.
Please RSVP for this event, (530) 333-4724 Sponsored by Georgetown Friends of the Library.
