OCTOBER 3, 2007
A New Book Club

It's not back -- It's all new.

That's right -- we're starting a book club at the Milltown Public Library, and we're breaking out of the "book-club rut." No more assignments. No more discussion questions. No more embarrassment over not finishing the book.

The new book club will simply be an open discussion where attendees can talk with each other about the books they've read, or are reading. One thing will remain the same: we will still have tasty refreshments.

The Milltown Public Library is very excited to offer a time and place for bibliophiles and literary looky-loos to gather, talk, and inspire each other to seek out good books.

Join us on Monday, November 5th at 7 p.m. for our first gathering at the library, where we can decide what sort of structure this new group will have (if any), choose a name for the group, and establish a good meeting time. For those unable to attend, the books we discussed and important announcements about the group will be posted on this blog. If you have any suggestions or ideas for this new book club, please contact the library at milltownpl@ifls.lib.wi.us, or post to this blog entry for all to see!
