Children have the chance to practice and improve their reading skills while providing enrichment for cats waiting for their forever homes at the city of Aurora Animal Shelter. All participants will get to choose a prize from the treasure chest after reading! Reading times are in 30–minute intervals. First grade and older. Visit or call 303.739.6589 to register. Stories, songs and rhymes for kids ages 0-7. Please note: the first Saturday of the month is designated a "Sensory Storytime" and includes special activities for children with special needs. All children are welcome to attend!

Children of all ages will enjoy this storytime with picture books, rhymes and songs that support the development of early literacy skills for 0-7 year olds. Parent/caregiver participation is encouraged.

FREE Tutoring in Reading for Elementary Students

Is your elementary school student struggling with reading at school? The Children’s Literacy Center will provide a trained volunteer who can tutor your child for free, one hour per week!
