Short Film Festival
Saturday, Oct. 26, 2 - 5 p.m.

Celebrate the autumn film festival circuit with APL by coming to our own short film festival! We’ll be showing a variety of short films for you to enjoy – or critique – through our streaming film service Kanopy. Stay for a few or stay for them all. Engage in lively discussion (between films, please). Cast a vote for your favorite – and don’t forget to grab some popcorn!

Love true crime? So do we! Let's get together and talk about it. Once a month, we'll discuss our favorite true crime TV shows, movies, podcasts, and a book of that month. Every fourth Saturday at HIGH NOON. Adults.   ​

FREE Tutoring in Reading for Elementary Students MLK

Is your elementary school student struggling with reading at school? Do you love movies? Have you ever wondered how they get made? Join us for an interactive workshop where you'll learn the filmmaking fundamentals used by pros and amateurs alike.
Saturday, Oct. 26, 2 - 6 p.m.

Stop by any time 2:00-6:00 and tour our library haunted house, built by teen volunteers in the Teen Advisory Group. Recommended age: 10+, it might be a bit too scary for little ones.​

Wear your costume and bring your candy bucket to Trick or Treat at the Library. We will also have a Halloween themed craft.  All Ages.
