Garine earned a BA with a major in Commercial Art from Anna Maria College. She is an Artist and potter running a pottery studio, Kulina Folk Art (www.KulinaFolkArt.com), with partner Rick Hamelin of Pied Potter Hamelin (www.PiedPotterHamelin.com), in Warren, Massachusetts. Garine was the Massachusetts Cultural Council Keepers of Tradition Award: the keepers of tradition are artists recognized as outstanding practitioners of craft, music, dance, and sacred arts.
