Rescheduled - Havening Techniques: Brain Candy and The Healing Power of Touch

From everyday upsets to deep rooted traumas, get “in touch” by putting the power of active emotional well-being in your hands and learn about Havening Techniques. Havening is a neuroscience based approach that is “CPR for the Amygdala”. Hilary Russo will also guide you through a short Self-Havening session so that you can self-soothe and find your calm. Hilary calls it Brain Candy: the sweetest ways to be kind to your mind.

One of only 150 Certified Havening Techniques Practitioners in the US & 500 in the world, Hilary has been called a “pioneer” by Havening’s founding doctors for her dedication to the work. Registration is required. This program will be held in person in the Library's Community Room and simulcasted via Zoom. A valid email address is required during registration. You will receive an email from the library with a link to join the meeting prior to the program.

Registration is required for all Zoom programs via the North Haven Memorial Library website. A unique program link will be sent via email to registered attendees only. These links are not allowed to be shared. The library utilizes Zoom’s Waiting Room feature, ensuring that participants cannot join the meeting before a library host is present and that unauthorized participants cannot attend. The library blocks Zoom’s screen sharing and recording features for participants, and the library does not record meetings. The library prohibits screenshots and recordings of any kind. Any participant’s behavior deemed disruptive or offensive by the library staff may result in removal from the program or future programs.
