Patric Gagne grew up feeling disconnected from others, struggling with a lack of emotions like fear and empathy, and resorted to theft and violence to fill the emptiness she felt. After being diagnosed as a sociopath in college, she began to question her future and, through love and self-discovery, embarked on a journey to prove that those with her condition aren’t destined to be monsters.
The Fresh Voices Book Group aims to read books by new voices—debut authors with fresh perspectives. Though all are welcome to join, this book group is aimed at readers in their early twenties to thirties.Copies of the book can be found at the Library a month prior to each discussion.
