Back by Popular Demand!  Join Joan Schaible as she explores the trials & triumphs of some women inventors in her newest program, You Go Girl.  Traditionally, females were expected to marry, raise children, and keep house!  However, not totally bound by such expectations, many women used their amazing ideas and skills to invent and even patent important objects/concepts that are recognized today.  Meet some of these incredible women on their challenging journeys to improve life for others.  Experience one lady's famous accomplishment!
 

About Joan Schaible:

Joan was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Taylor University, Upland, IN.  She taught middle school social studies and language arts in the town of Boonton, NJ.  Joan worked for the Morris County Park Commission as a Historical Program Specialist at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Twp., NJ.  She also serves as a docent at The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, Parsippany, NJ.  Joan spends time giving a variety of presentations for school children and adult groups, as well as at libraries and senior centers.
