Nature Walk
Clinton Nature Trail
Saturday, Jun. 26, 9:30 AM
June is the month when we search for young fledglings of songbirds that have nested. It's a busy time for the parents searching for caterpillars and insects. It is also the time to see various butterfly and dragonfly species feeding on wildflowers. There will be something for everyone to enjoy on this walk. The Clinton Nature Trail has well maintained grassy paths that lead through a meadow and into a wooded area to the Little Wappinger Creek. Be sure to dress appropriately and, as always, protect yourself from ticks. Bring your binoculars and cameras if you have them. Clinton Community Library follows the current New York State guidance on mask use and social distancing: https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-cuomo-announces-new-york-state-adopt-new-cdc-guidance-mask-use-and-social-distancing.
