Summer Memoir Writing Series
Ivoryton Library
Wednesday, Jun. 10, 6:00-7:30 pm (Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm)
Led by author/artist Caroline Joy Adams

Each class is free, and limited to 12 participants, and pre-registration is encouraged. You are encouraged to attend all sessions, if possible, but you are also welcome to just come to as many as you can, if you cannot be present for the whole series.

• This class series is open to all adults, and writers of all experience levels are welcome. Each week we focus on a different topic related to recounting aspects of our life stories, with the intention of creating short pieces of writing that illuminate key experiences we have had along our life journeys. And even if you are totally new to memoir writing, now may just be the perfect time for you to get started! Yet if you are someone who is already an experienced memoir writer, and working on a much longer piece of writing, you are equally welcome to work on that, and to bring short excerpts to share with the class.

• We all have important true-to-life stories to tell, and sometimes just need some encouragement and guidance to get our words down on paper. You will find that Caroline has a very helpful, gentle approach to the art and craft of memoir writing, and in all her classes and workshops, her goal is to create a highly supportive, encouraging writing community, designed to ignite your creative energies and inspire you to get started writing, and to keep going. And no matter where you are on your writing journey at present, and whatever your future goals may be, you are sure to come away feeling inspired, committed to take your writing to the next level, and more confident in your story-telling abilities.

So, come join usfor this summer series led by Caroline Joy Adams, M.Ed.
