There is a special reading program for every age level from toddlers to adults. Each program offers activities and challenges as well as prizes for reading, based on age level.

 

Prizes for kids and teens include a free book, summer swag, and an entry into a grand drawing at the end of the summer for an Amazon gift card or Kindle tablet.  Adult prizes include a free book, and summer swag.
Participants may sign up at any of the Santa Maria Public Library branch locations.  The Main Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street, where adults may sign up at the second floor Information Desk, while families, children, and teens sign up on the first floor in Youth Services.  Or, sign up at one of the branch locations at Orcutt, Cuyama, Guadalupe, Los Alamos, or Bookmobile. Participants can also sign up online at cityofsantamaria.beanstack.org
