People eating a plant-based diet focus on foods like vegetables, whole grains, fruit, legumes, nuts, and seeds, and eat little or no foods from animal-based sources. But what exactly does it mean to eat a plant-based diet? What are the potential health benefits, and do you need to take certain supplements? This presentation by an instructor of health sciences will review the basics of a plant-based diet, its impact on health and wellbeing, and how to design a daily way of eating that is nutrient dense and delicious!
