In the course of researching for his dissertation, Kent Haldan was privileged to have oral histories shared with him by Japanese American residents in Santa Barbara County.  His talk will specifically focus on the role of baseball both before and during the WWII U.S. internments of these people.  Please join us to hear these important stories of local history.

Dr. Haldan is a Professor in the History department at Diablo Valley College.
