Warehouse Point Library
Saturday, Feb. 1, 11 a.m. to noon
Come to our special program by the Blue Moon Raptors for Take Your Child to the Library Day on Saturday, February 1 at 11 a.m.-noon. This is a program for children ages 3 and up. Due to limited space we must restrict the number of parents to insure everyone can attend. Children, ages 3-8 need to have ONE parent ONLY attend the program. Children 8 and older may NOT have a parent in the program. The parent or caregiver MUST stay in the Library, however. On the day of the program, we may adjust these limits.
Blue Moon Raptors, located in Guilford, CT, was started by Rose Crisci in 2011. Our mission at Blue Moon Raptors is to rehabilitate ill, injured, and orphaned birds of prey to return them back to their natural habitat where they will continue to enrich the environment. Along with rehabilitation, our goal at Blue Moon Raptors is to share the important role these raptors have in our ecosystem to help maintain the balance of nature with educational programs. We discuss what we can do to make a difference to preserve the environment so raptors may continue to enrich our planet. In doing such programs we hope to educate, and promote the protection of wildlife and our environment for future generations.
