Welcome the Central Connecticut Woodturners! 11 a.m. Session
Warehouse Point Library

Saturday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m. to noon
The Central Connecticut Woodturners will be holding a free event on Saturday, December 7 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m at the Library. There will be three sessions with limited space. This program is for ages 12 and up. (Youth 16 and under will need an adult to participate.)
  • This program is free, and all materials are provided by the Central Connecticut Woodturners.
  • Before getting started, you’ll receive safety instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • A skilled member of the Central Connecticut Woodturners will guide you through using the lathe to create the body of your pen, then help you assemble your final product.
  • The process typically takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
The Central Connecticut Woodturners (CCW) was founded in 1994 to support the needs of wood turners in the central Connecticut area and to promote a higher standard of excellence in woodturning by providing an ever expanding source of information and resources to its members. Central Connecticut Woodturner’s will be here to instruct participants in the use of wood and lathes in order to create beautiful works of art. Participants will leave with a handmade gift for the holidays.
