Roger Hendricks Simon is Othello and Marian Grudko the evil Iago in scenes from one of Shakespeare's greatest plays. Roger as Othello - of course. With that incredible voice, But Marian as Iago? Can a sweet, tiny, author/composer play one of Shakespeare's greatest villains? Oh, yeah. You better believe she can. 


About our presenters: 

Roger Hendricks Simon is a founding member of the Yale Repertory Company, who went on to direct and act for Joe Papp's New York Shakespeare Festival, London's Royal Court Theatre, Edinburgh Festival, Lincoln Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, La Mama, Roundabout, Los Angeles Theatre Center, PBS, BBC-TV, National Public Radio and many more.

Elected to Notable Names in American Theatre. Roger is the founding artistic director for The Simon Studio in New York City.

Roger Hendricks Simon's current critically acclaimed feature films are Colin Wilson's LINOLEUM and Daniel Keith's LOVE IN KILNERRY.


Marian Grudko is an author and an actress and frequently works with Roger Hendricks Simon. She is known as a performer of her musical stories, and has become a global storyteller doing virtual readings and discussions in London, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Her newest book is Claudine and the Bridge of Two Hearts.
