EDH - Teen Tuesday (ages 13-17)

Come visit the library for this summer event series created by teens for teens! This weekly program provides a fun and low-pressure space for teens to socialize and explore new hobbies, skills, and activities.

No registration is required. All supplies are provided, but limited in some cases to the first 25 participants. The projected activities are as follows:

 

6/03 — DIY Tie-Dye Shirts and Totes (supplies limited)

Bring in any white article of clothing or a tote bag and give it some color! 

 

6/10 — Flower Pot Decorating 

 

6/17 — Slime Making

 

6/24 — Mug Painting 

 

7/8 — Dried Flower Bookmarks 

 

7/15 — Bracelet Making

 

7/22 — STEM Challenge: Clic Construction Relay

Pairs will work together as one partner writes detailed instructions to recreate a model built from clics and wood, and the other uses those instructions to replicate the structure as accurately as possible. The winning team receives a prize!

 

7/29 — STEM Challenge: Build Battle

Participants will attempt to design and build the most stable tower they can with the least amount of materials. The winner receives a prize!

 

For ages 13 to 17. In order to create a learning environment appropriate for teens, age limits will be enforced.
