A virtual/online program that engages children through science and the transformation of household objects into new and exciting things. Today's events will include a birdfeeder-make and birdwatching segment, a kitchen seed sprouting experiment, and a marbled pebble craft project. Please join us!

Supply list:
BIRDFEEDER
-Clean paper milk carton (alternatives: orange juice carton or 2-qt. jug)
-2 wooden skewers (alternatives: craft sticks or wooden spoons)
-String (alternatives: yarn or lanyard)
-Construction paper
-Glue
-Scissors
-Birdseed

KITCHEN SEED SPROUTING EXPERIMENT
-Paper egg carton (alternative: foam egg carton or ice tray)
-Soil
-Uncooked kitchen seeds (beans, chia seeds, watermelon, squash, etc.)
-Water

MARBLED PEBBLES
-Large pebbles or rocks (about the size of your hand)
-Bowl
-Water
-Different colors of nail polish (alternative: acrylic paint)
-Putty or modeling clay
-Newspaper
