Sept 25 (grades 2-3): Join Katie, Registered Dietitian from Food Explorers to make Broccoli Cheddar Melts with Baked Fries for your whole family! To make this gourmet grilled cheese you’ll need the following ingredients: sandwich bread, cheddar cheese, broccoli, lemon, garlic powder, olive oil and russet potatoes (Yukon Gold’s would also work) and seasonings of your choice. Parental supervision is encouraged for knife safety.
The library offers fun and educational after school programming for children in grades 2-5 on Fridays during the school year. To account for extra transportation and distance learning time, this year’s after school events will take place at 4:00pm.
