Fresh Voices Book Group: Eleanore of Avignon by Elizabeth DeLozier
Westwood Public Library

Tuesday, Apr. 22, 7:00pm-8:00pm

In 1347 Provence, Elea Blanchet, a skilled midwife and herbalist, seeks freedom to pursue her healing craft while navigating the dangers of drawing attention as a woman. When the Black Death strikes and Queen Joanna arrives for trial and childbirth, Elea must confront growing threats from both the plague and a witch hunt targeting her as a potential scapegoat.

The Fresh Voices Book Group aims to read books by new voices—debut authors with fresh perspectives. Though all are welcome to join, this book group is aimed at readers in their early twenties to thirties.
Copies of the book can be found at the Library a month prior to each discussion.  Please note that some titles are also available as downloadable ebooks and eaudio books
