Behavioral Interviewing by Sue Silberman (a NhN presentation)
Westwood Public Library

Thursday, Oct. 22, 7pm
This presentation will highlight the Behavioral Interviewing approach that is often used by interviewers. However, it also can be used effectively by applicants during an interview.  Session will focus on the PAR/CAR tool (Project or Challenge-Actions-Results) that has an applicant offer specific examples in response to questions posed to share competency in a required skill or knowledge.  Similar tools (STAR and SOAR) will also be defined.
Sue Silberman is retired with over 25 years experience in management training & development, human resources, career development, outplacement services and conference planning.  She worked for major corporations during which she had special assignments both nationally and internationally.
