Sustainability Series: Ridgewood Wildscape Walk and Cleanup
Gypsy and King Ponds

Sunday, May 1, 1-3:00 pm
Explore and engage with the untamed landscapes that lay right outside our front doors. Ridgewood Wildscape Association leader Ellie Gruber and recent Ramapo College graduate and ecologist will find and identify spring flowers. PLEASE NOTE: This walk requires participants to walk up and down steep stairs. Please look for future walks that will be more accessible.

Stay with us and take action to keep these open spaces clear of debris and trash. Farres Kamel, a junior from RHS, member of the crew team, and advocate for clean waterways and environmental restoration, will lead a cleanup of Gypsy and Kings Ponds. Cleanup supplies provided; please bring gardening or work gloves if you have them.

Questions: Larissa Brookes, lbrookes@ridgewoodlibrary.org, (201) 670-5600, ext. 137.
