Always Bee Curious: An Evening With Frank the Beeman
Virtual

Wednesday, Jun. 16, 7:00pm
Virtual Author Event with Frank Mortimer
Bee People and the Bugs They Love introduces a swarm of offbeat characters who have been lured - likes bees to honey- to the energy, complexity and value of bees in our ecosystem. Charting his path from hobbyist to Master Beekeeper, Frank (a.k.a. Frank the Beeman) introduces us to the buzzy, quirky characters who make up today's bee keepers and still employ the centuries-old tricks of the apiary trade. He lets us in on what bees experience; how they communicate and socialize; the relationship between flower and bee; and what can be done to protect the existence of one of the most beguiling and invaluable creatures on earth.

Book sale and signing through Bookends on Saturday, June 12 from 10:00am-12:00pm on the RPL patio (weather permitting). More information is here.
