Create an Ecological Kitchen (Sustainability Series)

Wednesday, Jan. 6, 6:30 pm
or call 201-670-5600.
What will happen if you eat something after its "best-by date"? Can I eat broccoli stems? What about freezing cheese? Does compost attract undesirable animals? In this Sustainability Series program, Stacey Antine flexes her green thumb to show us how to maximize your kitchen's ecological, economical, and ethical potential. Whether you are interested in reducing your environmental impact, saving money, or minimizing waste (or all three!), you will learn new ideas and techniques to make your kitchen lean and green.  Kids are welcome, too!

Co-presented with Sustainable Ridgewood.
