Cowboys, Cattle Trails and Cowtowns of the Old West

Millions of cattle were driven from Texas rances to railheads in Kansas for shipment to the Armour meat packing plant in Chicago in the late 19th century. Along the way they would stop in the cow towns of Wichita, Abilene and Dodge City. Learn about the travels, the songs and the cowboys.
