Unexpected First Ladies

Join historic program presenter, Joan Schaible, as she explores the women who unexpectedly became First Ladies when their Vice Presidential husbands assumed the Presidency after a death or resignation. Through images and props, history comes alive as patrons learn how each of these woman assumed this unexpected position and ultimately proved herself on a national stage.
