Have seen the movie, Napoleon, an epic that details the chequered rise and fall of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and his relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine? Are you curious how historically accurate it was?  Napoleon was called the “Corsican Ogre” of Europe and the “Great Thief” of Europe by those that feared him. It is only fitting that we consider the dark side, or “darker” aspect of Napoleon Buonaparte. In addition to his detractors, this lecture will include thoughts from Napoleon’s own memoirs.
