If you want to add beauty to your garden, this presentation is for you!

We are excited to welcome Andrew Pighills, an accomplished stone artisan, gardener and horticulturist transplanted from Yorkshire, England.  He will be teaching us about the art of the cottage garden.  Horticulture may be a science, but creating gardens that speak to one's soul is an art form. This richly illustrated and inspiring talk explores the qualities and characteristics that define cottage gardens and offers practical advice on how to achieve this in one's own landscape.

Committed to traditional stone building techniques, his skill and craftsmanship has earned him a devoted following of private and public clients here and abroad. His work has been featured on British and American television, Martha Stewart Living radio, and, in print, in the NY Times, Yankee Magazine, and numerous other publications.

Sponsored by The Friends of the Rocky Hill Library.
